Ted Anderson, PT, DPT OCS
Ted Anderson graduated from Santa Clara University with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and an Emphasis on Organic and BioChemistry. He then Graduated from the Top Ranked Physical Therapy Program at Marquette University in 2006 with a Doctor of Physical Therapy.
Ted moved to Maui in 2008 to work for Hale Makua Rehab Services and soon after began Venture Physical Therapy with his wife Ann Anderson. He has since expanded the practice to 4 clinics and In-Home Therapy covering Maui and Lana’i. He became a Board Certified Orthopedic Specialist in 2014 putting in him in the top 5% of therapists in the country.
Ted has a passion for Athletes and Seniors and has shaped this practice around both extremes. He also provides training courses for area high school coaches and trainers.
Ted is devoted to the Maui Community and sits on the Board Of Directors at Maui Adult Day Care Centers and travels the island performing free Caregiver Training Courses. When not at work, he can be found with his wife and daughters, on stage performing stand up comedy, spearfishing, or at the local Crossfit working out.
Elizabeth San Juan, PT, DPT
Elizabeth received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of St. Augustine in Health Sciences. She was born and raised in California, lived there all her life, until an awesome opportunity in Venture Physical Therapy came and swept her to Hawaii.
In her spare time, Elizabeth likes to go on adventurous hikes and explore the beautiful island of Maui. She is a member of the Halau Hula Malani O Kapehe.
Jennifer “Chiemi” Ban, OTR
Jennifer Chiemi Ban (everyone calls her by her middle name – Chiemi) graduated from the University of Hawaii at Manoa with a BA in Liberal Studies in 1993. While at UH, she volunteered at the Rehab Hospital of the Pacific where she discovered occupational therapy. She received her Occupational Therapy degree in 1997 from Colorado State University.
Chiemi was born and raised on Maui. She has worked in the acute, SNF, and outpatient settings on Kauai and Hilo. After moving back to Maui in 2002, she worked for Hale Makua Rehab Services until 2010. In 2010, Chiemi began her adventure at Venture Physical Therapy.
Chiemi enjoys working with people of all ages, with focus on geriatric population. Her husband, 3 children, and dog “Momo” keep her happily busy when she is not at work. Chiemi enjoys traveling, studying, applying the wisdom of Soul and Tao teachings with the Institute for Soul Healing and Enlightenment.
Ann Anderson, MPH
Ann Anderson graduated from Santa Clara University with a Bachelor of Arts. She moved with her husband Ted to Milwaukee so he could finish his Doctorate of Physical Therapy. Soon after moving back to CA, Ann completed her Master’s of Public Health at University of San Francisco.
Ann moved to Maui in 2008, and soon began Venture Physical Therapy with her husband Ted. She can be seen working the front desk some mornings and doing the billing at home all while taking care of their two daughters and their third child, an Olde English Bulldogge. Ann likes to spend her time taking adventures with her husband and daughters to the beach or Ocean Center, and working out with Liz at the local Crossfit, Zumba, and Bootcamp.
Chantelle Cardenas was been employed with Venture Physical Therapy for 3 years as the Front Desk Assistant. She was born and raised on this beautiful island, Maui.
Outside of work, Chantelle is a busy mother to her 4 wonderful children, Joshua, Bryson, Chayson and Jacelyn. In her spare time, she loves to do art and crafts. She enjoys listening to music, going to the beach and camping out with family and friends.
